Joining & Membership

By booking an event with Club Class you are registering your
acceptance of the Club Class Terms and Conditions.

Cancellation for any reason must be 72 hours prior to an event without incurring a charge.  If cancellation is less than 72 hours full payment for the event will be taken.

Club Class events are designed to give single and unattached people
the opportunity in which to meet others in a friendly, safe and relaxed
manner. However we are not a matchmaking service or personal
introductory agency and are unable to verify the precise personal
details of those participating in our events. It is up to you to verify
personal information to your own satisfaction.
We draw your attention to a number of safety warnings to consider
when making contact with participants after our events. Never meet in
an isolated place or at a new partners house or hotel in the first
instance. Always tell a friend where you will be, meet in a well lit public
place and do not accept offers of transport. Keep your alcohol
consumption to a minimum.
Membership of Club Class is at the sole discretion of the Proprietor(s)
or their appointed agents and is by invitation only. Admission is subject
to acceptance of the club rules. All candidates for membership must
offer themselves for interview, either in person before an event or
over the telephone by questionnaire. It is the responsibility of potential
members to answer questions truthfully and honestly; particular
attention is drawn to the fact that Club membership is only open to
men or women who are single or unattached. Failure to answer a
questionnaire truthfully may result in membership being immediately
terminated. We reserve the right to request personal identification, and
confirmation of marital status.
A membership fee shall be payable after attendance of your first event, if the potential member wishes to continue to attend events. The
membership is a one-off lifetime fee. (lifetime of Club Class UK Ltd and not the individual)
The Events
By registering with Club Class you agree that neither us or our
associates is liable for any damages, direct or indirect, that may arise
from partaking in our events or subsequent meetings. This includes any
damages, without limitation, arising out of communicating with other
participants registered with us. Such damages include, without
limitation, physical damages, bodily injury, financial loss, theft of
property and or emotional stress and discomfort.
Club Class organise events at venues over which we have no control.
Therefore, if you are injured or suffer damages of any kind at a Club
Class event, you agree to release Club Class, and its associates from
any liability with respect thereof.
Club Class exists as a forum for mature adults, over the age of 25, who
are single or unattached to meet each other and make new friends. We
will always assist you in making enquires after an event, within reason,
to see if a potential friendship can be established. We make no
guarantees that your initiative will be responded to by the other party
in a meaningful way.
Attendance at Club Class events is at the sole discretion of the owners
and management. No person shall be entitled to attend a function
unless the appropriate payment has been made in advance and in full
to the administration offices on the day prior to the event at the latest.
The booking of an event howsoever made will render the participant
liable to pay for that event in full. A cancellation policy exists which
states that no payments will be refunded for cancellation within 72
hours of the start of an event. Prior to this, a full refund will be made
unless stated otherwise on the details appertaining to the event. This
will apply in particular where the management has needed to purchase
tickets or make a commitment to another organisation at an earlier
date.
The management may expel a participant during an event, or prior to
an event, at their sole discretion if they consider that the conduct of the
person is not conducive to a harmonious atmosphere during the event.
Unruly or undesirable behavior will not be tolerated and result in an
immediate ban from all future events. Any outstanding monies
deposited for future events will be returned, and if relevant
membership of the Club will be terminated.
Smoking is a major issue nowadays and participants should assume that
smoking will be banned from all events. Where the management is able
to secure an area for smoking then participants will be informed.
Dress for each event shall be appropriate for the occasion. Participants
arriving in attire which the management deems inappropriate shall be
refused admission and monies will not be refunded. For guidance, the
majority of events will be ‘smart casual’ which includes dress that is
smart and presentable to the opposite sex. Jeans and trainers are not
acceptable unless otherwise stated. For formal events the standard of
dress will be stated in the programme.
It is the responsibility of the attendees and members to limit their
consumption of alcohol to that which enables them to take care of
themselves after the event. In particular, if the attendee or member
intends to drive home they should be extremely cautious in their
consumption of alcohol and ensure that they are in no way over the
legal limit. If the management offer an amount of alcohol at an event,
such as wine with dinner, this in no way states that this level of alcohol
shall be acceptable to driving after the event.
If owing to circumstances beyond our control (eg bad weather or a
venue being double booked) we have to cancel or postpone an event
at short notice, we shall not be liable for incidental expenses incurred
by attendees. In the event of cancellation a reasonable alternative will
be offered at the sole discretion of the management.
Website & e mails
Club Class is not liable for any damage, without limitation, resulting
from the use of our own website. If you have any technical difficulties
when using the site please contact the office. From time to time we
will wish to send e mails to members informing them of future
events. A feature of membership is that e mails informing members of
future events will be sent and accepted by the recipient. However,
any member can decide not to accept e mails in the future; in this
instance the member should type ‘Unsubscribe’ in the subject matter
and return any of the e mails. The member will then be delisted from
e mail circulation at the earliest practicable date.
If you are not happy
If you ever have reason to complain about the services provided by Club Class please telephone or write to the office in the first instance. We will do all we can to resolve the matter amicably.
